Three Js

Josh here. We had a play date with our friend Julia L. Mommy says she's a super sweet cutie
With two babies around, Josie decided to play like we do.
I kinda like Julia. Maybe she'll be my girlfriend some day.
Hey wait a minute! I'm not so sure about this.
(Mommy says - You've got to click to enlarge this photo. Its a hoot!)

Partners in Crime

Josh here. My sis and I are now having lots of fun together (when she's not hitting, pushing or yelling at me).
I started this little shenanigan.
But Josie quickly joined in the fun when Mommy started laughing and pulled out the camera.
Okay, so how do I get out of this thing?

Books!

I love books! Going to the library is one of my favorite things to do. On Tuesday mornings, we go to Storytime and get some new books. When we get home from the library, the first thing I like to do is look through our new books.
Josh is slowly learning the joys of "reading" too. It took some time, but he's finally figured out that books are for reading, not eating.
Mommy loves it when we sit quietly and look at our new books too! She gets some peace and quiet while she makes our lunches.

Corn Husker

This summer Daddy taught me how to husk corn.
This is how you do it. Its hard work but...
worth it at the dinner table.

In the Weeds

I like to help Mommy in the flower gardens. She calls it weeding. I call it having fun getting messy in the dirt.
I've even got my own gardening gloves. See how messy!
I really like it when Mommy finds a worm. I like to bury it and resurrect it over and over again. For some reason the worm stops moving after a while. There are no pictures of this since Mommy doesn't want there to be any evidence of animal cruelty that can be used against me in the court of law.

Moving Day

Mommy and Daddy decided that Josh and I needed to switch bedrooms (mostly because my bedroom was more baby-safe already). Daddy took apart my bed and moved it into Josh's room. And I packed up all my stuff.
Okay, I'm packed!
I helped move my things down the hall.
And then we moved Josh's stuff over here.
I love my new room. One of my favorite things is that Daddy took off the rail on my bed so I can get up and down all by my self. Allow me to demonstrate.
Here is the celebratory knee-jumping!
My other favorite thing about my new room is this big window I can stand up and look out.
I like to spy on the neighbors, point to the doggie walking by, and watch Daddy mow.
It makes me so happy!
Here I am taking my first nap in my new room.
I like my new room too! - Josh

BTW - For those of you who were fooled for a moment that we were ALL moving, our house is still for sale. 6+ months on the market and a number of price drops without a single offer.
But we're working on our new house plans (which is lots of fun) so we'll be ready when it does finally sell.

4th of July

Hi everybody! We had a great Fourth of July. Check out our stars and stripes.
Grammy and G-Pa had a party at their house. We had relatives galore.
I felt very patriotic that day!
Mommy and Daddy got to relax with Josh.

We had lots of good food to eat.
But Josh had to eat his same old lunch, bread, cheese, beans, and pears. Poor Josh.
While Josh was lounging with the 'rents, I was tapping everyone to "come play with me?!"
G-Pa tried to show me how to play golf,
but I prefer to use the club like a sledge hammer and pound the ball into the ground (if I can actually make contact with the ball).
I hung out with Uncle Aaron and Aunt Kristin a lot too.
Here we are on Josie Rock, one of my favorite places and Grammy and G-Pa's house.
Next up was badminton.
I was on Uncle Aaron's team.
I gave it my best effort, but you'll notice the birdie (shuttlecock) plummeting to the ground.
Then I watched the game for a little while, and played with Aunt Kristin's iPhone. I LOVE that thing. I can zoom through pictures so fast I can't even see them.
Despite texting while driving, the only casualty of the holiday weekend was Daddy's remote-control airplane. The wind got hold of it and crashed it into a tree. Sorry Daddy :(
Hope you all had a wonderful holiday too!

Finger Food

I've started digging on the finger food this past week. I will now eat bread, cheese, kidney beans, pears, carrots, and green beans.
Kidney beans are my favorite and I don't like the watermelon. I wonder what I'll get to try next?

Lunch with the Lezamas

Aunt Betty, Uncle James and cousin Gordon came from Florida to visit us in June.
We had a yummy lunch...
and then play time.
That's Gordy not Josh. Don't they look a lot alike?

On the Move

Well folks. You knew it wouldn't be long. I, Josh, am now .... mobile.
That's right. I've finally figured it out. It took me a little while to coordinate all of my massive muscles.
And now I'm ready to roll up outta here.
Oops.

Just kidding!
Now let me see if I can figure out these steps...
