Pregnancy Update

We went to another appointment at Maternal-Fetal Medicine yesterday. And we are happy to report that it will be our last. Our 31 week ultrasound showed one happy, healthy, perfectly sized baby. The doctors are no longer concerned that there is any problem with the baby. So I can go back to my regular OB doctor for the remaining 9 weeks and we can start getting ready for baby's arrival. Thank you all for keeping us in your prayers.

Aunt Debbie

During Mommy's pregnancy, Aunt Debbie (one of daddy's sisters) has been an invaluable help. She had lost her job, so she was available any time we wanted her to come over and play. But now she has found a new job. Very good for her. Sad for us.
We miss you Aunt Debbie! Good luck at your new job!

Cow Appreciation Day

Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-Fil-A was a huge success!

Here are the kids getting the costumes ready.

Here's Josie's finished costume. (That sign says "EAT MOR CHIKIN")
Don't forget the tail.
Josh didn't want to dress like a cow. But Mommy did. There was no one to take a picture of her. Darn!

The kids loved meeting "The Cow".
We enjoyed our free lunch and they had a balloon artist making animals for the kids.

We've decided to make this an annual event. We'll try to talk Daddy into it next year.

Our New Playset

Daddy bought this playset for us. It was used and needed disassembled, transported, re-assembled, repaired and refinished, but he got it done for the 4th of July weekend. Here we are enjoying it for one of the first times.

Here's Uncle Aaron helping to push.
I'd say its a big hit. Thanks Daddy!
Thanks to G-pa for helping out too!

Chick-Fil-A

Last night the kids and I (Mommy) went to Chick-Fil-A Family Night. Kids eat free on tuesday night and they have special activities too. This was our first time there. The kids loved it!
Josie got a face-painting.
Josh ate lots of french fries and chicken nuggets. (Josie doesn't like the chicken there. Gasp! But she sure likes the fries.)
One of the area firetrucks was there for the kids to see.
And they gave away cow costumes for the kids to wear. Josh didn't want to do it, but Josie kept hers on even when we went to the grocery store afterwards.
Friday is Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-Fil-A. If you dress up like a cow, you get free food! Maybe we'll see you there!
*Please excuse all the blurry photos. They came from my iPhone.
