This past weekend started out like normal....Family Breakfast time....eating pancakes and reading the newspaper and sale papers....

And then, later that weekend, it happened. Here is my mug shot after the event. Look above my left eye.

I am OK now, but it wasn't pretty at the time. I still don't know what happened. I was walking along, minding my own business, when BAM! My face met the corner of a wall. The outside edge of a corner - yeah - the sharp end.

Mom and Dad tried to ice it down, but I would have nothing of it.

I'm OK. As you can see from the first mug shot, the swelling has gone down and I am back to enjoying life. I'm sure this is the first of many accidents. Stay tuned.

Hi! Josie here, with an update from the home front. We all have been sick a lot lately. We have been passing colds around to each other. But we still try to have fun.

I am learning how to rock in Daddy's old rocking chair. It real is fun.

We went to Grandma and Grandpa Royer's for the Superbowl. Daddy was teaching me how to signal "Touchdown!" - what ever that means.

Hmmm...what to wear...I just don't have a thing to wear!! MOM! Time to go shopping.
You will never guess! I LOVE the cold weather! Daddy says that I am going to be a great ice climber... Yeah. I know the place. Just keep going straight.
It sure is lonely being a trailblazer....
