Adios!

Well folks. We finally bit the bullet and started painting the inside of our house. First on the chopping block was our dining room.
This room was a tribute to our honeymoon in Mexico. But alas, no more. Our home has been De-Mexicanized*.

*Note: No Mexicans were harmed during this process.

Welcome to our new Boring Room, I mean Dining Room.It was a sad, sad day. Hopefully this is not an indication of where our marriage is going :)

King Josh

I stake this claim and this shall henceforth be named "Joshville"!
You may address me as King Josh.
Okay you can leave now. I have important things to attend to.
BTW Josie, King trumps Princess. I'm throwing you in the dungeon!

The Big Six

Josh here. I'm six months old now.
I went to the doc today.
Here are my stats:
Weight: 19lbs. 8oz.
Height: 29 in.
Head Cir: 46cm.

I'm large and in charge :)

I've recently discovered my ears (as shown in pictures) and I like to pull my feet up to my mouth. I'll grab for anything within arms-reach and try to shove it in my mouth too. I can sit up with support and can usually flip onto my back when Mommy makes me do tummy time.

You may be wondering how I compare to my big sis at this age. Well, I've got way more brains, 4cm to be exact. And I've got about 2lbs. of extra weight. I think its because of my package (guys, you know what I'm talkin' about).

Peace out!

Princess in Training

Hello my loyal subjects. Behold my beauty.
This is my princess dress. It makes me happy!
I'm learning to be a princess, so I tried telling Josh what to do. He doesn't listen very well. He just layed there. I think I'll send him to the dungeon.

Momma Got Skills!

hi there! Sorry its been a little quiet around here lately. I just wanted to brag on my Mommy a little bit today. And I'll try to get some more posts up this weekend.

Mommy's been reading a book called Made from Scratch - Discovering the Pleasures of a Handmade Life by Jenna Woginrich. And she was inspired to make homemade bread. Check it out!
Stay tuned to find out how many crazy homesteading ideas Mommy will try to incorporate into our lives. Maybe we'll be adding some chickens and bees to our family some day :)

Mommy Note: Seriously, read the book. It's educational and entertaining.
