The Chicken Chronicles - And Then There Were Eggs

 We started letting the chickens free-range it a little bit.

 The hard part is getting the chickens back in the coop.

 Josie used to be our chicken herder until the rooster attacked her.  

Now we carry a big stick to smack him around if we need to.

We finally got our first eggs!

Lovin' on Penny

 Josie loves taking opportunities to hold Penny.

 Josh likes to get up on a step next to Penny's changing table and talk to her.

AJ has just recently started giving "Baby" hugs, but I don't have any pictures of that yet.

One Last Beach Trip

 We squeezed in one last trip to the beach before the season was over.

 Here's our little surfer girl.

 Josie and Josh liked playing in the sand and taking turns going in the water with Daddy and G-Pa.

Penny made herself comfortable on Grammy's lap.

We took Grammy apple-picking for her birthday this year.

 We all enjoyed the fruit of our labor.

Crazy Hair Day

 Here are pictures from Crazy Hair Day at VBS over the summer.

 

AJ is too young for VBS but she is always sporting some crazy hair.

Josh's 4th Birthday

 Josh turned 4 years old in August.

 Grammy made a special pirate cake because Josh is obsessed with pirates right now.

 Josh anxiously waiting for the cake to be de-pirated so he can eat it.

 Our special little guy is turning into such a handsome little guy.

 

 One of his favorite presents was his Armor of God playset.

He carries his sword around all day so he can be ready to fight the enemy.

AJ's 2nd Birthday

 AJ turned 2 in September.

 

 Josie colored a picture for her.

  

 Grammy created another fabulous cake.

 

 We thought it fitting to give AJ the tops of the ears in homage to "Nee".

The Beach
