Clean House

We've got to keep the house extra clean these days, since we never know when someone might want to come look at the house. I've been helping Mommy out a lot. After a quick lesson in window cleaning, I got straight to work.

It wasn't really as glamorous as Mommy made it out to be, so I decided to delegate the work to Ducky.
I like to help with dusting too. But as usual, I had to be quality control manager.
Mommy missed a spot way up here. She's such a slacker.

Tummy Time: A Lesson In Futility

Hi folks. Here I am again, stuck on my belly. Why does she keep doing this to me?
And I'm up!
oooooh hey, this looks kinda cool!
How's my turtle impression?
I can't hold it much longer...

ugh, I need a break.
Are you serious?!? Am I really still on my belly?!?
help! I'm goin' down...

Snow Day!

Yeeeeaaaahhh for snow! Check out my sweet winter gear. Another donation from the Stasko estate. Daddy loves when I'm decked out in gear. I think he's going to get me an ice-axe next year.
But for now, I have to settle for playing with this little plastic truck. Mommy told me it has snow tires on, so it's okay to drive in the snow. This is the snow emergency route.
It needed a little extra weight to get good traction, so I packed it with dirt and snow.

Sick Daze

Josh here. Life hasn't been so hot this past week. I've got my first cold... and it's a doozie (vomiting, diarrhea and boat-loads of snot). Mommy's been doing lots of laundry this week.
I went to the doc yesterday morning and I'm now officially a member of the "Fish Face Club" (see December 6 2008 post for more explanation), although Josie doesn't always like to share her Fish Face with me. Of course my temperature was perfectly normal when we went to the doctor's in the morning, and then at 9:30pm my temp. was 103.0 degrees. So Mommy and Daddy and I got to stay up late last night, until my fever broke.

There is one fun thing about having a boat-load of snot at your disposal. It's great for making "boogie bubbles"!

There was only one middle-of-the-night run to the pharmacy, and it wasn't for me. Josie was the one who needed some more Tylenol. Yes, it's true. I was a good brother and shared with my sister. I don't think she appreciates it very much though.

You'll be hearing from us a little more once Mommy and Daddy recover from their sick daze and sleepless nights. Fortunately, they are not the one's that are sick... yet.

Parent Hack

My Mommy likes to check out a site called Parent Hacks. It's a website used to share parenting tips. Mommy's idea about identifying your umbrella was today's hack! Check it out. (scroll down the page to find it - That's Mommy's hand in the pic)

House For Sale

For Sale: Single Family Home. Rancher, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths with 2 car garage and patio on .46 acre lot. Built in 1960. List Price: $325,000

This is why things have been crazy at our house. Mommy and Daddy decided that Christmas would be a great time to get our house ready to sell. We are preparing to move out-of-state this year, as some of you may know. Those of you out there in bloggerspace who know us and know where we live, please pass the word to anyone looking to buy a house. And those of you who don't know us that well, you get a free tour anyway, and maybe learn a little more about us along the way.
My parents bought this house 4 yrs. ago. It is the first home they've owned together and Mommy's first opportunity to decorate. Good or bad, Daddy gave her complete creative license. You will see in later pictures, that its quite a unique living space and certainly not in everyone's taste. Feel free to leave comments on what you like and dislike. Hopefully there is more of the former than the latter.
